Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory

There can be a number of reasons why an athlete fears failure, e.g. embarrassment, parental pressure, worry about the consequences of failure, e.g. wasted years training, not receiving the rewards they desire, etc. A fear of failure can be stressful for an athlete and have a detrimental impact on sporting performance. Therefore, it is important to overcome your fear of failure, to allow you to practice and compete at your best.
